Welcome to Cortijo Paloma

Cortijo Paloma is an old farmhouse situated near Puerto Lumbreras in Murcia. We have two casitas for rental which accomodate 2-4 people but have a connecting door so can be used for up to six. There are large grounds with use of the swimming pool and barbeque areas which you are welcome to use anytime. We provide a small welcome pack on arrival and this can be extended upon request. We recommend a hire car as there is minimal public transport. We are close to the A7 motorway which gives easy access to a variety of places such as beaches, historic towns and sporting and leisure facilites. We live on the premesis so you can get local information, restaurant recommendations, driving directions etc. We also have dogs which are friendly but can be in their own areas if you prefer.

A Rural Retreat in the Heart of Murcia, Spain

Just a couple of things to note. If you arrive on a Sunday, the supermarkets are generally closed. There may be some that open in the morning only. We provide a small welcome pack of immediate essentials but if you want anything more we can get them for you, in advance. We also recommend you hire a car, if you are flying to Spain as the public transport in this area is minimal. We can pick you up from one of the three local airports Almeria, Alicante or Murcia San Javier after that you will need your own transport. You can bring your well behaved pets but they must be kept under control at all times. Smoking is allowed in the outside areas only. The pool is open from approx. May to October. Airport pickups and shopping are at an extra cost.
